its time for summer grilling! 
so for a father's day feast we decided to make shish kebabs
these are a fun and relatively easy way to feed a lot of people. 
the only real work involved is in prepping the food.
once everything is cleaned and cut everyone can make their own just the way they like!
what we used:
1 red onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
2 butternut squash
2 cartons of mushrooms 
4oz. grape tomatoes
10 small red potatoes
1 cored pineapple
approx. 1.5lbs angus beef
approx. 12 chicken tenderloins
approx. 24 jumbo shrimp

clean and quarter all ingredients so they are close in size. brush balsamic vinegar on the veggies, marinate the chicken in italian dressing and garlic, the steak in worcestershire/teriyaki sauce and salt & pepper, and the shrimp in a garlic butter. thread ingredients on kebabs as desired. grill on medium heat until meat is cooked through. 

made around 30 kebabs. we served them with brown rice seasoned with butter, honey, lime, and a little kosher salt. we had enough food to feed an army!
the grilled pineapple was the best for sure. mMmm!
