smoothie time.

go-to green smoothie.

2 huge handfuls of spinach 
half a cucumber- sliced
3/4 cup of egg whites
1 green apple- sliced
about 6 strawberries
1 Tb. flax seeds
1/2 cup fage greek yogurt
1/4 cup orange juice
ice cubes

i think i drink some variation of this 3-4 times a week. 
 this one is my very favorite!
it's fun to mix things up though... some days i use blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries.
and this morning i used peach tea instead of oj.
just make sure you keep the greek yogurt and/or egg whites for a little protein.

if you can get over the color you are about to get a great energy boost.
this smoothie is a great way to get your veggies in throughout the day too.

now, if anyone feels the need to buy me a vitamix...i wouldn't say no.
