the chili diaries, part 3.


aunt kelly's chili!
2 tB. olive oil
2lbs. ground beef
1 sweet onion, diced
heat oil over medium heat. brown the ground beef and cook onions until translucent.
add 2 cans stewed and diced tomatoes
add 1 can tomato paste
add 2 cans cooks hot chili beans
add 1 can red pinto beans - i pureed these
add 1 packet of lipton dry onion soup
add 3 tB. chili powder
add a few shakes of crushed red pepper
add 1 beer- prefer bud light
bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer for at least 2 hours
serve with sour cream, avocado, cheddar cheese, and crackers!

this chili is chock-full of meat and beans (sorry vegheads)
it's so delicious and definitely man approved!
also, the easiest i've made so far- not much prep at all. enjoy!
