a little reset and a lot of coffee.

photo taken at fido. post written from a cozy spot at frothy monkey while listening to this.

samma here. rambling from a coffee shop in nashville today. sometimes a change in scenery is just what we need to rejuvenate. my mind is racing with ideas and thoughts and resolution. my mind is clear, but running full speed at the same time. how can that be?

there's some kind of peace in sneaking away from a city that holds all of your stress. bills on the table. a calendar full of places to be. work to do. people to answer to. it's refreshing to tune out from all of that, even if it's all piling up and waiting for your return. somehow, it's always worth it. it's easier to jump back into all of it after clearing your mind and filling your soul with good coffee and far away friends. (and this time - holiday fun!)

have i mentioned that i can't get enough of this city? it's bursting with energy and creativity, but in a slow and steady kind of way. does that make sense? there's inspiration in every block, every brick, every tune. every y'all. i like it. i like it a lot. i can't stay away for long.

see you soon, cincinnati. i like you a lot, too.
